Covering an area of 30,000 m2 and with an estimated annual production capacity of 20 million saleable plants, Monfori is the largest plant micro propagation operation in Indonesia with year-round production capability and the finest production and quality control technology available. The Monfori facility is operated to the highest standards of quality, process and environmental control.

Our media dispensing, plant inoculation and incubation operations are conducted under ‘Class 350’ air quality conditions and stringent hygiene controls are employed to preclude agents and vectors of biotic contamination. These precautions are key factors enabling Monfori to operate to the highest standards of aseptic practice and quality control in the Tropics.

Our extensive growth rooms accommodate a total of 1,550 m2 of illuminated Class 350 incubation shelf space. Each room is equipped with variable light intensity, quality and photo-period control systems and with BAS (Building Automation System)-driven programmable temperature and RH control. Such controls enable us to meet the specific incubation requirements for shoot multiplication, rooting and bulb production for a wide variety of temperate, tropical and sub tropical species … 24 hours per day; 365 days per year.
